The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured all Lok Sabha seats from Delhi in both the 2014 and 2019 General Elections. The party aims to replicate this success in 2024. In 2014, the BJP won all seats in the Delhi constituency with a 46.40% vote share, which increased to 56.86% in 2019.
In a strategic move, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), now part of the INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) coalition, have agreed on a seat-sharing arrangement for the 2024 elections. Under this agreement, the AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal, will contest four seats, while the Indian National Congress (INC), under the leadership of Arvinder Singh Lovely in Delhi, will field candidates in three constituencies.
